What was the highlight of Hotel Petit Palace Museum

Excellent hotel in a great location. We would not hesitate to return.

The hotel's location in the Eixample makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. Both rooms we booked, and their bathrooms, were well proportioned and comfortable. The staff were truly excellent and made us fee really welcome. Their recommendations for local restaurants (from their first hand experience) was fantastic.

It was very warm (as expected) during our visit in August, even at night. The air conditioning in the rooms was a little bit noisy for those guests not used to it (but it did not stop us sleeping). Not an issue that would stop us returning to the same rooms.

Great stay overall and great location. Pictures look a bit different than actual; but not bad.

Very conveniently located!!! Staff was great and breakfast was really good!!!

The location. The employees were super nice, specially the young lady who works at night.

The decor was dark and depressing. The door lock had a problem and I couldn’t open it by card no matter what. They had to reset the door lock with a special device every time I needed to enter my room. The maintenance team never showed up.

Great experience. We made a reservation at a last minute. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Very tasty breakfast. Room was a bit old but still very comfortable (well except for a lamp just in front of a fridge).

A nice choice overall to stay in Barcelona!

The hotel is located at a very nice neighbourhood, very close to the metro station, bus lines and walking distance from Rambla. Furthermore, one can find many restaurants and bars to visit near the venue. The rooms are really spacious (big plus) and very clean, with all the needed amenities. Perhaps, I would add a pair of slippers, but the laminate floor is really OK with a pair of socks. The breakfast buffet is quite satisfactory, characterized mostly by sour dishes. Perhaps some additions with crepes, waffles or pancakes would be good.

Overall the experience was good. I would highlight only two negative aspects: 1. I would prefer some other kind of pillows, beacuse the provided were quite long and thin, not easily managed while you were sleeping. 2. The check-in experience was a bit dissapointing The employees seemed to take a long time with every customer and the waiting time was quite long. The staff was of course very kind, but still waiting for such a long time was a bit annoying.

Perfect location at good price. 5 min walk to Cataluña and Paseo de Gracia.

LOCATION! Service and kind staff. Great room and bathroom size for Spain.

Well located hotel with all you need and amazing staff

Lucas, the man at the reception was a mine of useful information. Really friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel had a problem with hot water but they did everything to sort it out and offered free breakfast to compensate so a great sense of customer service. Our room was really quiet, backing out to a large traffic-free square, and was much nicer than the photos showed. The location is also really practical.

Bad luck about the lack of hot water on the first evening but such things happen.

Beautiful, central hotel

Excellent location, walking distance to the Gothic Quarter and Gracia and with great public transportation connections via bus and metro to all points of interest in the city. The room was lovely, with a wonderful view, great decorations and sufficient space. It included a closet, an iron/ironing board, a lot of toiletries, nice full size mirror, mini fridge and everything one could need. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was really great. Beds were comfortable too and the lobby is lovely. They kept our stuff for us in a secure room that only the staff enters, which was great The stuff was incredible and very friendly and gave us great recommendations Breakfast was very good (not AMAZING but very good), with a nice variety of hot and cold dishes, fruit, bread, cheese, deli meats, pastries, yogurt and chia seed pudding. Overall, it was a good stay and I would stay there again. We got their last minute deal discount and it was definitely value for money

Not much to complain really. The only real problem was that the bathroom door is semi transparent and does not fully close, which means there's no complete privacy while using the toilet and the light goes all over the room if someone is using the bathroom during the night. We also had to ask for an extra pillow three times before finally getting one but this is obviously not a big deal. Overall, it was a great stay

Perfect city break

Very good breakfast with really big choice. Very friendly and helpful staff. We received lot of recommendations where to go, where to eat. Really appreciate this :) Localisation is perfect!!! In the middle of all Barcelona’s main attractions.

Furniture and rooms are a little bit used and tired. Smell on the corridor also not the best…
